Can't receive the verification code?

Updated on:

If you are unable to receive verification codes (SMS or email) while using the BYEX platform, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot and attempt to resolve the issue:

1. Solutions for Not Receiving SMS Verification Codes:

  • Switch Network: Turn off mobile data or WiFi for 1 minute, restart the connection, and then try requesting the code again.
  • Optimize Signal: Move to an area with stronger signal and request the code again.
  • Check SMS Blocking:
    • Ensure that SMS blocking, blacklists, or spam filtering features are turned off.
    • Uninstall or disable blocking apps such as 360 Security, Message Manager, etc.
    • For iPhone users, go to Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts to check if the sender’s number was accidentally blocked.
  • Check SMS Storage: Make sure your SMS inbox is not full; delete some old messages if necessary.

Special Situations:

  • If you use mobile number portability or a dual-SIM phone, try swapping SIM card slots or switching the network provider’s signal source for testing.
  • If the issue persists, contact online customer service and provide your mobile phone number so we can investigate further.

2. Solutions for Not Receiving Email Verification Codes:

  • Check Network Status: Switch between WiFi and mobile data, or restart your network before trying again.
  • Check Spam Folder: Verify whether the verification code email was mistakenly marked as spam or promotional mail.
  • Check Email Storage: Clear your mailbox to ensure it is not full and blocking new messages.
  • Common Email Troubleshooting:
    • Outlook/Hotmail: Check the “Junk Mail Rules” and “Blocked Senders List,” clear them, and try again.
    • QQ Mail: Clear any blacklisted email addresses or domains, and enable “Allow Receiving” in anti-spam settings.

If the issue still cannot be resolved
Please contact our online customer service and provide your phone number or email address so we can investigate further.
